On the app, it says the dataset was updated a few days ago, but the data only goes until 2022. How come?

There are two important aspects of the data to consider:
Publication Date: This refers to when the data was made publicly available or updated. Even if data is published recently, it may only cover up to a certain period.
Time Period Covered: The time range of the actual data observations. For example, unemployment figures published in December 2023 may provide monthly unemployment rates going back over the past year.
It’s common for data to have a recent publication date but cover a time period that lags behind by months or longer. This is because it takes time to collect and prepare extensive data for publication. So you may see fresh December 2023 data that only captures economic or social measurements through August or September of that year.
